Q: What is a hatelisting?
A: Hatelistings are the opposite of fanlistings; instead of listing people who are fans, it lists people who share the same hate/dislike/distaste of a certain thing or person or idea.
Q: Why does the "dbs" in the URL stand for?
A: I changed the name on December 4, 2004 from "Don't Be Stupid" to "Incorrect", but I didn't feel it necessary to change the subdomain. :)
Q: What do you mean by "incorrect" use of the word gay?
A: By incorrect, I mean using the word to describe something as stupid or bad. I find this to an abuse of the word. A common example: "School was so gay today. It sucked."
Q: What is so wrong about saying that?
A: It bothers me because, for one, it is not necessary to say your day was "gay". There are better adjectives that are less offensive toward those of homosexual persuasion. Personally, I think it sounds whiny and ignorant, especially when it's in every other sentence.
